Another super phone in the Avaya Partner range, the 18D comes with the ‘to be expected’ 2-line, 24 character backlit display that can be tilted to improve readability. In addition, the phone has 16 programmable buttons that can be used for lines or features – the choice depends on your needs.
The Avaya Partner 18D improves productivity while controlling costs, all without sacrificing quality in the process. Few other phones offer the multiple features of the Avaya Partner 18D at the same cost. Features include a 2-button intercom, four programmable line or feature buttons without LEDS in addition to the 16 that have LEDS, eight fixed feature lines and eight ring tones that can be personalized to identify numbers. It can also store caller ID information for 200 hundred calls.
Like some Avaya Partner phones, the 18D has a volume control button so that the user can adjust sound levels for clearer transmission. The volume control button works to increase or decrease the speaker, ringer or the handset as a whole. There is also ‘do not disturb’ functionality with the Avaya Partner 18D which is necessary for the busy professional who sometimes does not want the distraction of a ringing telephone. This feature can be easily enabled and disabled as needed.
